Sunday :(
Driving. driving driving, driving, gas stop, driving driving, driving, driving, driving, FOOD, driving driving, HOME! and . . . end of fall break and a wonderful vacation.
Saturday!
Today we went to the Salt Lake Temple. The GRAND FINALE! We were sooo excited to go! After staying up pretty late, the only thing that got us out of bed was the fact that we were going to the Salt Lake Temple. We got ready in a jiffy and zipped out the door. When we arrived, it was unbelievable. WAY prettier than expected (which is really saying something!). Our session only took about and hour, so we were out in Temple Square at 11. We expected there to be a wait for Belli's parents and brother (who were doing a different session) but only a half-hour--or hour--at the most. However, it came and went and 2 and 1/2 hours later, we were still pacing back and forth in the visitors center (located in Temple Square). To our surprise, Mom, Dad, and Gaston (Belli's brother) had just finished their session and walked through the door, just as Belli, Cinderelly, and Cogsworth (Belli's brother's friend) were considering high-jacking the car. Then we went to Ikea (not in the high-jacked car{we never actually high-jacked it}) and got 6 cinnamon rolls (they were dilicious!) for $4! we were amazed. NEXT STOP!: CAFE RIO! Mmmmm . . . sweet pork burritos smothered (enchalada style) in mild sauce with bean and Pico de Gio on the side . . . mmmm. . . LAST STOP: BYU HOMECOMING GAME! we . . . got creamed. :(Bummer . . . i think the guy behind us carried bad luck (he said that every game he went to, BYU got hammered). We didn't even stay for the whole thing (goodness, what spirit we have--sarcasm). But, we held through till the last 3 minutes, just enough time to get going as to avoid trafic. . . not that there was any . . . we walked . . . and every one else left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. . . <- (aren't you impressed with our football terms???) and yupp, that closes our fun for fall break--we still have tomorrow, but that's gonna be :P horrible and long . . .
Friday
We went to the Draper temple today. We also got lost on the way to the temple and started going up the canyon not down. That morning we learned how to play a really fun game called Acquirre. It is a really hard, strategic, and entertaining. At about 6:30 PM Belli's family, along with Mindy and her family and friend, came over and had dinner and dessert.

THURSDAY
On thursday, we were waken by mom, hurrying us out of bed to get ready for the Timpanogos Temple. THAT was a pretty temple. (Cinderelly's favorite temple, now) We again did baptisms, which was cool, because Belli's brother (who is endowed; he's leaving for the MTC on November 4 {he's going to kentucky on his mission!}) got to baptize and confirm us!! Then we went and saw Mindy ( a family friend of Belli's family ) dancing at the Wilk ballroom. Then, while we walked home, we took a wrong turn and got lost! So we called Belli's mom and straightened things out.
WEDNESDAY!
Wednesday: SHOPPING! at. . . the BYU BOOKSTORE! (and the creamery) we woke up at 8:30. After breakfast and showering, we slammed the door (not literally) and walked to BYU Campus. FIRST STOP: the Creamery. We walked to get ice cream, BUT . . . IT WAS CLOSED! so, we got socks instead (they were cinderella!) NEXT STOP: the Wilkinson Center. Past Jamba Juice, Past the "STUDY HALL", Past the Ballroom, Past the food court, straight to . . . THE BYU BOOKSTORE!!!!!! Our favorite thing we got was Belle the magnetic "paper doll"!!!!!
LAST STOP: Oquirrh. Up on Oquirrh Mountain, there lies the beautiful and peaceful Oquirrh Mountain temple. We visited it in the afternoon to do baptisms for the dead. It was a great experience.
THAT NIGHT: we found Beauty and the Beast in the basement. Of course, we watched it. It is such a great movie!
Monday! and Tuesday!
mon: Waiting for our vacation to start . . . and packing!
Tues: driving . . . driving . . . and driving . . . and more driving . . . did i mention driving??? It's an 8 hour drive to Utah from our house, so we were stuck in the car with just us two . . . and Belli's parents, brother, and friend. Movies, games, talking, sleeping, and laughing kept us occupied. . . mostly.
October, 2009, Ooh-tah (Utah) adventure!
